The Chemical Exposure Core (CXC) is an state of the art facility specializing in Environmental Sampling. The core offers passive sampling devices (PSDs) including stationary monitors using low density polyethylene (LDPE), as well as silicone wristbands and dog-tags for personal exposure monitoring. The core also offers analytical services for sample PSD extracts, enabling EHSC members to measure concentrations of environmental toxins in personal exposures, air, water, sediments and soils.
